Barn Conversions

Converting an existing barn can be one of the few ways to achieve a new home in the countryside. The type, age and use of the barn will determine what route is taken through the planning process.

Some older traditional stone barns can be converted with full planning permission whilst others can be converted under ‘Part Q’ of permitted development. Both of these routes require a holistic approach to a design that considers cost and construction detail from start to finish.
